Pictures from Iowa

I have been a slug and haven't updated this blog since Valentine's Day. So sorry! In an attempt to make up for my laziness I am making 2 updates today. Here, as promised long ago, are pictures from the twins stay with Grandma and Grandpa Norgren while Nathaniel and I were in Las Vegas. This is from the first weekend in February so thay have changed even since then!!! As you can see they had quite a good time baking cookies, helping with laundry and hanging out with their Aunt Kara who was home visiting and helping. Enjoy!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Jack and Bella decided to cook yummy cupcakes last night for the ladies at day care! They are delicious if I do say so myself. Today they are wearing their Valentine outfits from Aunt Kara and they love them! Here are a couple pictures from this morning.

Cereal Time!

Well, the time has come for us to help Jack and Bella explore a new fun food. Cereal! Nathaniel put their high chairs together this weekend and we have officially gone into cereal mode. Although it doesn't appear to be helping them sleep any longer at night, I am sure it will. I think they get more on their faces right now than they get in their mouths. Here are a couple before and after pictures we took of them enjoying cereal this weekend.

Viva Las Vegas

We realize that people come here to learn more about the babies, but we wanted to let you know that Nathaniel and I took our first vacation alone since Jack and Bella were born. We spent Superbowl weekend in Las Vegas with my family. It was a much needed break and the babies were in wonderful hands in Iowa. They helped bake cookies, do laundry and had fun baths! Pictures to come! Meanwhile, here are some fun pics of mommy and daddy on their special vacation!

A very sad day

This morning God called our Great Grandma Norgren home. It is a great loss to our family and we will all miss her so. She represented strength, integrity and everything good in a woman. It was an honor and a privilege to have known her. She is resting with God and our Great Grandpa Norgren now and can find peace again with him, although those she left behind will never forget her and carry her in their hearts forever. Please keep all of our Norgren family in your prayers as they say goodbye to such a beautiful person.

Buckeyes in Missouri?!?!?!?!

That's right!!! This weekend Jack and Bella were lucky enough to have part of their Ohio family come and visit. Samantha and Susan flew in friday night for a girls weekend! What fun! Friday night we all had dinner together at Red Robin. Mmm....
Saturday was the photo shoot for the babes that I wrote about in another post. While we were there, Susan, Samantha, the babes and I all scored some GREAT new clothes compliments of Nana!!! After that Susan decided that there was no way she could come to Kansas City and not visit our all time favorite restaurant, Houston's. So we headed down to the Plaza and enjoyed a delicious dinner. Sorry Cliff, maybe next time you can come. After dinner, we went back home and did what we love to do.....watch football. So, we had girl time watching the big games and played with the babes until bedtime. The Buckeye ladies headed back on Sunday but will be planning another trip soon. We cannot wait!!!

Popi and Nana time!

Popi and Nana Stavropoulos come to visit about once a week or once every other week - they cook Mommy and Daddy dinner and hold us. Mommy and Daddy like it because they get good food! Last night when they were here Mommy and Daddy took some pictures of us with them since we hadn't had any together with them since we were born!!! Enjoy!
