Easter

So technically Orthodox Easter is this Sunday, the 19th, but we went ahead and celebrated last Sunday since we're pretty busy this weekend! The Easter bunny came to our house in full force. Nathaniel and I learned our lesson that everyone in our family is amazing and that we don't need to worry about making Easter baskets! Jack and Bella each got a total of 4 Easter baskets! Whoa! They got new clothes, coloring books, markers, sidewalk chalk, sunglasses, candy, stuffed animals, fire trucks, books and the list just keeps going! The weather wasn't so great so we decided to hunt eggs inside but the kiddos loved it and caught right on to what was going on. Jack was so excited to find eggs and put them in his "Melmo" basket!
One stuffed animal the kids got that we'd like to mention is Taki the Greek Teddy Bear. Taki sings songs in Greek along with counting to 10 and reciting the Greek alphabet. We also got a book to teach the twins their first 100 words in Greek. Nathaniel and I are going to start learning more too. Popi is going to teach all of us! Yay! Jack and Bella both love to hold Taki while he sings and dance with him. He's really special although we may have to get a second Taki the Teddy Bear since they both want to hold him all the time! Another helpful lesson we learned is that our kids shouldn't eat candy, it makes them crazy!! =) We hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter and that all of our Orthodox friends have a wonderful Easter this coming Sunday. Christos Anesti (ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ ΑΝΕΣΤΗ)!!!

Candy is SO GOOOOOOOD! We're going to make Mommy and Daddy crazy!

Some of the amazing Easter gifts that came our way!

Gifts from Nathaniel and I to Jack and Bella! They love Elmo and the baskets were a hit!

From Popi and Nana! We're missing the GIANT stuffed duck and GIANT stuffed lamb that came with these baskets too! We also got baskets from Grandma and Grandpa Norgren but as soon as they got there the kids tore into them before I could get a picture!!

A wide variety of things......

So, it has been a while since we posted new pictures. I am sorry about that! We've been very busy! As a direct result of that, here is a ridiculous amount of pictures that are completely unrelated to one another. =)
A quick update, Jack and Bella continue to really develop their vocabulary. No is still the favorite for both but we've been making such progress and communicating back and forth; Them being able to tell Nathaniel and I what they want now. I can see the light at the end of this tunnel!
You will see a lot of pictures from the kid's school in here. We really enjoy these since this is a part of their day we can't always be a part of. We are looking forward to water play Fridays this summer when the kiddos get to take their swimming suits to school and have water play! Yay! Summer can't get here fast enough. Bring on the warm weather!

Jack really enjoys talking on the phone at school. Every time it rings they said he points to it and yells!

Scooting around the classroom

The teachers really enjoy watching Jack and Bella interact. They are their first set of twins!

Jack trying on all the different hats at school. They have a whole basket of hats and the kids get to try all of them on and learn about them and who wears them!

Bella trying the hats!

Jack learning to play the drum in music class. They have music class in school and learn to play real instruments (not just the plastic drum!) and sing lots of songs.

During playtime Jack and Bella chose to read on the couch! Theey're on their way to supporting Mommy and Daddy already! ha! ha!

Jack sporting his new hat at home. He loves this hat and wears it to school everyday. We hang it on his hook and then he wears it home when we leave. The ladies there love it!

Sporting the new Easter ears they got in their baskets from Uncle Johnny and Aunt Cindy!

I just thought this was cute. =) They love their coupe car!
